Regions of Europe (IRE) together with the Founder Region
Upper Austria organizes a public debate on Europe. The
regional artist Walter Wippersberg will present his thoughts
on Europe. Two school classes from Upper Austria will
actively participate.

6th IRE Advisory
Board Meeting in Hof, Bavaria, Germany
On Monday, 16th April 2007 the
IRE Advisory Board will meet between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in
Hof, Bavaria, Germany.
IRE Round Table on "Regional cross boarder coopertion and
labour market"
On Monday, 16. April 2007 the Institute of the Regions of
Europe (IRE) will organize a Round Table in Hof, Bavaria,
Germany.
At this Expertmeeting representatives the Regions
Bavaria, Karlsbad, Saxony and Thuringia Thüringen will
discuss about regional cross boarder cooperations. The Round
Table will be organized together with the IRE Support Member
"Berufliche Fortbildungszentren gemeinnützige GmbH (bfz)
Austria, represented by Director Werner Lindig.

a panel discussion on Euroregions
in South East Europe - a sucessful instrument for regional

debate on "Experiences in the past and main challenges".

Café d´Europe
Régional in Korpivnica-Krizevci, Croatia
On Monday, 19 March 2007 the
Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE) orgainzes between 10:00 a.m.
and 12:30 a.m. in the IRE
Member Region Koprivnica-Krizevci, Croatia a debate on
Europe in form of a Café d´Europe Régional.
Therefore
the IRE invites yound people from the Region to Koprivnica
in a Café to discuss in public together with Regional
President Mr. Friscic, a Representative of Hanns-Seidel
Stiftung Croatia and a representative of the Austrian
Chamber of Commerce in Croatia about the European Union. Aim
of this initiative is to show the sweet part of Europe. The
Ambience in the Café should underline the openness of that
discussion.

IRE-Round Table "The role of
communes within federations"
In Cooperation with the Forum of Federations
(Ottawa, Canada) and the International Association of Centers
for Federal Studies (IACFS), the Institute of the Regions of
Europe (IRE) is organising a round table on "The role of
communes within federations" with representatives from the
fields of politics, administration, science and economics.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 15 March 2007
between 9:00 a.m. and 17:00 p.m. at Kommunalkredit Austria
AG, Türkenstraße 9, 1092 Vienna.

IRE Presenation in
Sofia, Bulgarien - 8. March 2007, 11:00 a.m.
The Insitute of the Regions of Europe (IRE) invites all
Regional Govenors and Lordmayors of the main Cities for a
lunch meeting in Sofia. At this occasion Deputy Foreign
Minister Evgenia Koldanova will give a short speech.
The Meeting will start at 11:00 a.m. and will last until
14:00 p.m.
